Michael Cooper, MP chosen to represent Conservative Party
St. Albert – Incumbent Conservative MP Michael Cooper has been nominated to run for re-election within the St. Albert–Edmonton district.
Biography of Michael Cooper
Michael Cooper has been a resident of St. Albert for over 20 years. Before entering politics, he worked as a small business owner within the community. Throughout his career, he has involved himself within organizations such as the St. Albert Chamber of Commerce and served as chair of the St. Albert Food Bank.
Entering politics in 2019, Michael Cooper was elected as the Member of Parliament for St. Albert – Edmonton, serving on the Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs, the Standing Committee on National Defence and the Canada-Africa Parliamentary Association.
When asked what inspired him to enter politics, Michael Cooper responded "My passion for this community drives me to serve the community, and I hope to continue to serve the community's needs and continue to advocate on behalf of St. Albert - Edmonton in Ottawa."
