American rapper Snoop Dogg will be one of the torchbearers of the Olympic flame ahead of the 2024 Paris Games. He will be carrying it through the suburb of Saint-Ouen on July 24th. His ties to the 2024 Olympics won't end with the torch as he will also be a commentator with NBC during the events.

Snoop Dogg, 52, was born on October 20th, 1971, in Long Beach, California. He is known for his laid-back style and his iconic West Coast G-funk sound. Snoop Dogg has sold over 23 million albums in the United States and 35 million albums worldwide. He has also won numerous awards, including an American Music Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and 17 nominations at the Grammy Awards.
