House of the Dragon Second Season to Drop July 7th

Episode Four Will Be Midway Point of Shortened Season

House of the Dragon is a prequel to the popular Game of Thrones series, taking place 200 years before the events of the original show. The series tells the story of House Targaryen, and the upcoming fourth episode of the second season will mark the midway point of the season, which will only have a total of eight episodes.

House of the Dragon airs on HBO's primetime Sunday slot, with new episodes beginning at 9:00 pm. The fourth episode of the second season is scheduled to be released on July 7, 2023, at 6:00 pm PT and 9:00 pm ET.

According to HBO's schedule, the third episode of the second season of House of the Dragon will be one hour long. For comparison, without the "Inside the Episode" segment, the second episode of the season was 55 minutes long.
