Hockey Stars Prepare for 2024 NHL All-Star Game
Matthews and Bedard Among 32 Players Selected
TORONTO, ON -
Following the Tim Hortons NHL All-Star Player Draft on Thursday, the rosters are set for the four teams that will be playing in the 2024 Honda NHL All-Star Game at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
Headlining the group of 32 players selected by the NHL are Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Connor Bedard of the Regina Pats. The duo will be playing in their first NHL All-Star Game.
Matthews, who was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NHL Draft, has quickly become one of the league's top players. He has scored at least 40 goals in each of the past four seasons and is on pace to do so again this year.
Bedard, who is considered to be one of the best prospects in hockey, is having a breakout season with the Regina Pats of the WHL. He has 27 goals and 55 assists in just 33 games this season.
The 2024 NHL All-Star Game will take place on February 1-3 hosted by the Maple Leafs in Toronto. The All-Star draft returned and took place on Thursday.
The four teams that will be playing in the All-Star Game are:

- Team Bedard
- Team Ovechkin
- Team Crosby
The All-Star Game is a showcase for the NHL's top players and is sure to be an exciting event for fans.
