Dunk and March the heroes as Seagulls knock out Reds
Brighton and Hove Albion produced a stunning performance to dump holders Liverpool out of the FA Cup thanks to a 92nd-minute winner from Lewis Dunk.
Solly March had given the Seagulls a deserved lead in the first half, firing home after a fine run from Deniz Undav. Mohamed Salah equalized for Liverpool just before the break, but Brighton dominated the second half and were rewarded when Danny Welbeck restored their lead.
With the game seemingly heading towards a replay, Dunk popped up with a dramatic winner in the dying seconds to send the Amex Stadium into raptures and end Liverpool's hopes of retaining the trophy.
The result is a major upset and sees Brighton reach the fourth round of the FA Cup for the first time since 1985. It is also a huge blow to Liverpool, who have now lost three of their last four games in all competitions.
